Most people who buy a Ferrari go for red. The red colour has been used to identify Italian cars and drivers since the very earliest days of motor racing. But I think, this black LaFerrari looks utterly magnificent.
This carbon, two-seat hypercar has a 6.3-litre Ferrari V12 engine with a KERS unit battery pack and electric motor to give 950bhp and 663lb ft of torque. As you might expect, it’s very fast and drives like the best Ferrari ever made. Ferrari states that the car has a top speed exceeding 349 km/h (217 mph), similar to the Enzo’s top speed, however, it is capable of reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 3 seconds, 200 km/h (124 mph) in under seven seconds, and a speed of 300 km/h (186 mph) in 15 seconds.
Only 499 have been built, available only to serious Ferrari collectors, and they’re all sold out. A car so fantastic the company literally decided toname it – »The Ferrari«..
