Two times Moto GP champion Casey Stoner suffered a horrific crash at Suzuka 8 hours endurance race in Japan. This was his first race after 2012.
The Australian rider, racing the HARC-Pro team’s Honda bike, took over the lead but soon after the throttle stuck open, causing him to lose control and crash. Accident happened in 69 minute of the race afterreplacing team colleague Takumi Takahashi and taking over the lead.
Stoner confirmed on social media that he suffered a broken scapula and a fractured tibia.
