Guys, don’t get me wrong.. If you drive one of the listed cars bellow, there is nothing wrong with you.
There are no set cars designed specifically for women drivers, although women’s taste definitely differs from men’s. Men tend to favour performance, muscle cars, while women are more likely to favour stylish, colourful and economic cars.
Bellow I’ve listed my top five cars for women, cars I would choose for my girlfriend and cars I would find myself cool to drive.
5) Renault Zoe
With a name like Zoe, this cute small electric car is a perfect example of a women car. At the moment it is the most affordable electric car in Europe and it is a superb little car. It’s practical, smart, it looks great and has an ultra-low running costs. The Zoe also comes with unique technology such as an air humidifier, oil incense and other additions aimed at turning the interior into a relaxing spa-like experience.
4) Range Rover Evoque
The Range Rover Evoque is a car designed for women drivers who want some SUV luxury and an eye-catching style. In my opinion, Evoque is one of the best looking SUVs on the market at this moment. It can already boasts with excellent sales and plenty of awards from the car industry.
3) Peugeot RCZ
The Peugeot attractive coupe targeted women with its impressive design. The RCZ is a 2+2 coupe, which means children seats can fit into the back, although adults my find space limited. But with that mix of elegance and sports style, practicality is not the most important aspect. The most standard option is a 1.6-litre, 4-cyl turbo engine, which makes 200 horsepower and reaches the top speed of 235 km/h (146 mph) and has a 7,5 sec 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) mark.
2) Citroen DS3
The Citroen DS3 is by no means a women’s car. However its appeal is universal, there are many options available, different body colours and combinations, which are more likely to appeal to females than males. The engine, performance and drive of this good looking hatchback are not bad at all. The most common version comes with 1.6-litre, 4-cyl turbo engine, that produces 157 horsepower, reach the top speed of 214 km/h (133 mph) and reach the 0-100km/h (0-60 mph) in 7,2 sec, which is two seconds faster than the previous mentioned RCZ.
1) Fiat 500
The Fiat 500 is the first and most obvious choice as a car designed to catch a female buyer’s eye. Designed with a retro look, very well styled interior, with a huge collection of body colours, this little car is a perfect option for younger women drivers. I’ve drove one by myself and its pretty cool to drive. It’s also a perfect city car.
There is also another, more “hardcore” version of this car. It’s called the Abarth 500. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind owning one by myself.
So this is my list of top 5 cars for women. I think they are all worth a consideration. What do you guys think?
