Now this is something really awesome. Two years ago, ex-host Jeremy Clarkson from British Top Gear, had come up with this crazy idea to organize an unusual “drag challenge”, between a Nissan GT-R and a human being.
Jeremy organized a drag between already mentioned GT-R and very good looking Australian Olympic runner, Michelle Jenneke. She’s an Australian 100 meters hurdles women’s champion, who actually became famous for her warm up routine before each race. She also represented Australia on this year 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
The rules were very simple. Jenneke had to run a 50 meters, mark and then turn around and run back to the finish line. Clarkson would power the GT-R behind the steering wheel and when he hit the 50 meters mark, he would have to reverse back to the finish line, something he admitted to be very tricky in a Nissan GT-R.
So, who is faster? A Nissan GT-R or a woman? See it for yourself..
However, I wonder if Clarkson organized the drag race just to se Jeeneke’s warm up routine. 😉
