Monster Energy has released an action-packed BATTLEDRIFT video featuring the battle of Vaughn Gittin Jr. in his 550hp 5.0L V-8 Mustang RTR and Daigo Saito’s 650hp V-12 Drift Lamborghini.
The duo head out to Niigata, Japan in their purpose built drift machines to burn some rubber. Vaughn’s drift car is the Monster Energy Mustang RTR with 550 hp 5.0-liter V8. Daigo’s 650 hp Lambo built by Liberty Walk and Phat Five racing, Saito’s AWD to RWD converted beast is looking for a fight.
The two drift legends head to Niigata, Japan to battle it out on a touge run as they head into the abandoned Niigata Russian Village. Like something from a post apocalyptic world, the village provides the perfect backdrop for these amazing machines to create some madness. After sliding around the touge, the duo settle in for an evening party Monster Energy style.
Turn the volume up and just listen to the V12 Lambo scream up the hill followed by unmistakable V8 thunder!
