The best part about owning a Tesla is that you can always look forward to a new Easter Egg. But this one is the most amazing and coolest thing I’ve personally ever seen a Tesla do.
Ever since Tesla made the updates possible over the air, we’ve all been wondering what the company would slot into their cars as unlockable Easter eggs. In the past, Tesla owners have been able to turn the car shown on their touch screen into the the submersible Lotus Esprit S1 from the James Bond movie, “The Spy Who Loved Me.” They’ve also been able to virtually drive down “Mario Kart’s” rainbow road.
Now this one is the best so far. This update, called the “Holiday Show,” recently gave Model X owners the Christmas light show that they never knew they needed. The mode can be triggered by holding the “T” button on their touch screen and entering the code “holiday.” Doing so will prompt the “Falcon Wing” doors to swing open and a light show set to the tune of “Wizards in Winter” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra will begin..
And one from different angle..
That’s not the only Easter Egg released in time for the winter holiday season. Those who enter the access code “Mars” into the Model X or Model S will get to see Mars on their touch screen. It will also change the rendering of your car into SpaceX’s Interplanetary Transport System so you get the true Red Planet experience. Who knows, might be the Tesla, who will be the first car driving on the Mars in near future??
