Mitsubishi announced that models Lancer, Galant and Pajero will be discontinued. Some of the company’s most successful and loved models will be kept in fond memory.
Osamu Masuka, Mitsubishi CEO, announced that the company does not have enough capital to develop new models on their own and have been unsuccessful in acquiring a business partner.
Mitsubishi will now focus on their remaining models and a new coupe crossover in 2017, that should fit between the Outlander and ASX models. New generation of the ASX has been said to be available in 2019.
