Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio crash in Switzerland

It’s been some time since the launch of the new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, so it was bound to happen sooner or later. All you need is a brainiac behind the wheel of the 510 horsepower beast.

On the last day of November a 46-year old Italian driver under the influence was »testing« its performances in Switzerland. By testing we mean wildly stomping the gas pedal for a few miles until he lost control and crashed the brand new Italian stallion. So to be fair, he did test the performance, but I doubt he wanted to check out how quickly the airbags inflate!

Due to the strict Swiss laws he immediately lost his license, got a 6 month ban from driving in the said country as well as a 2.000 Swiss francs ticket. It doesn’t end here though, he was also cited an extra 40.000 (!) to fix the damages on the road infrastructure.

Seriously, what are those lamp posts made of, solid gold?!
